The Northwest Ironworkers Trust Funds were established to provide health, retirement and annuity benefits for eligible members and dependents through the collective bargaining process with the Iron Workers District Council of the Pacific Northwest comprised of Local Union No. 14 Spokane WA, Local Union No. 29 Portland OR, and Union Local 86 Seattle WA. The Northwest Ironworkers Trust also provides health and annuity benefits to eligible members and dependents of Local Union No. 751 Anchorage AK.

Update Regarding COVID-19
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and in the interest of keeping the community and our staff as safe and healthy as possible, all WPAS offices (Mercer Island, Gladstone, Anchorage, Spokane) will be closed for walk-in services effective March 17, 2020. WPAS will only be conducting business via phone, email, or fax. If you need to bring documentation or information to the office, there are drop boxes available at each of our office locations. Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act)
Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) – Under the CARES Act adopted by the Annuity Plan Board of Trustees, a participant may qualify for a partial distribution until December 31, 2020 if, on or after April 1, 2020, the participant has experienced a lay off or termination of employment due to the coronavirus, including being unable to work due to lack of child care and school closures. The Trustees may expand this to other coronavirus related events based on future guidance from the IRS or Congressional action.
